LASER HAIR REMOVAL FAQ

For about six weeks prior to treatment, you should avoid plucking, threading, electrolysis, waxing, Nair and/or veet. Avoid intense direct sun exposure on the area to be treated for 1-2 weeks before and after treatment and apply sunblock (SPF 30 or above) on areas for day-to-day sun exposure. Do not expose the treatment area to sunlight or tanning booth light for 7-14 days prior to or 7-14 days immediately after treatment. If you have a history of herpes simplex virus, a prophylactic antiviral therapy may be prescribed. On the day of your treatment, skin should be clean-shaven and thoroughly cleansed of any makeup, creams, oils, topical anesthetics or self-tanning products.
